Dylan's Nobel

I'm absolutely ecstatic that Bob Dylan has won the Nobel Prize in Literature this morning. I think it's long overdue and points toward a broader view of what literature is and can be. He has always been one of my heroes. Could we see this coming? The answer, my friend, is blowing' in the wind.

  1. Hello!

Sorry to comment on this unrelated blog post but I didn't find any other way to contact you.
I recently went on a vacation to Hawaii and got hooked on the local public radio station. They did a nice bit about you and your poetry. Now I've never been a poetic fan myself but your poem about a boy "floating on grandmother's breath" really struck a chord. Now I've been searching high and low for the exact book that poem is in so I can read more just like it and maybe appreciate poetry a bit more. Thanks and keep writing!
