I'm delighted to say that on June 27 the Georgia Writers Association will present me with its Lifetime Achievement Award.
It's always pleasant to receive an honor, and this one means a lot to me, since I've won from that group Georgia Author of the Year four times in three different categories. And this year I'm a finalist in a fourth category, memoir, for my autobiography It Is Written: My Life in Letters.
You can read a long interview with me on the group's website here: http://www.georgiawriters.org/2015/04/exclusive-interview-with-lifetime-achievement-award-winner-philip-lee-williams/.
