Sorry to everyone who has commented only to see your comments not posted here (like you, Tim!). My settings were arranged to keep out spam--and there was a lot coming through. In Japanese. And keeping an eye on it and deleting it was a pain. But clearly the settings I have don't work. Despite the fact that the admittedly mediocre Blogger says the comments I "mediate" are being published, they aren't. So I've turned off all filters. Let's see how it works, Japanese porn links and all.
